Volunteer at Harbor House of Rochester

A Rochester Community Project of Caring

Since our doors opened to guests, we have been blessed with many dedicated and caring volunteers. Because of them Harbor House truly has become a home away from home for our guests.  If you have a few hours to spare either weekly, monthly or occasionally, we could use your help.

If you would like to assist the organization by volunteering your time or donating items or monetary gifts that will benefit patients and their families, please contact us by clicking here.

1. Is your group looking for a project? We are looking for organizations to host a donations drive for Harbor House. You can choose some of the recurring items or Running Low items on our list and request donations from a group of your choice. Ask them to drop off their donation and a time and location of your choice. When everything is collected, bring it to the Harbor House!

2. HOUSE KEEPERS. We need folks who are available during the day and willing to be flexible with their schedule.

3. HOSPITALITY TEAM MEMBERS. Help us staff our house from Mon-Fri. mornings from 9:00am - 12:00pm | Mon. -Fri 4:00pm - 10:00pm or weekends from 8:30am-10pm. The shifts are 3-4 hours. You can choose one shift weekly, monthly or occasionally.
