New Vaccination Policy

Posted - December 7, 2021

At Harbor House we have always prioritized the safety of our guests, their loved ones in the hospital and all who come into the House. It is with this in mind that we have made the decision to mandate full vaccination status for our guests, volunteers and staff.

We will allow those with medical exemptions, who provide doctor’s notes, to continue staying at the House. Otherwise, incoming guests must verify that they have been vaccinated prior to their stay and show proof of vaccination during check-in.

Any volunteer working inside the house will need to be vaccinated by January 1, 2022. Those who worked wholly outside of the house will not need to verify vaccination status.

We regret any burden this may place on those wishing to stay and volunteer at the Harbor House, however, given the research that shows the safety and efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccines, we feel it is a reasonable measure to take. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this trying time for all of us.
