On Tuesday, December 3 Harbor House is partnering with United Way and other Rochester area nonprofits in a special online fundraising event called ROC the Day.   The event happens on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving (called ‘Giving Tuesday,’) and is a unique opportunity for people to support the great work their local area nonprofits are doing in our community in one event.  You can support Harbor House on Giving Tuesday by visiting  https://roctheday.org/roc-the-day/causes/harborhouseofrochester.  We know it may be a challenge to donate during the holidays, especially if you’re struggling to give to close family members and friends.  So, we deeply appreciate your support on any day, any time of year!  And remember, you can always make your gift directly on our website at: https://www.harborhouseofrochester.org/make-a-donation.

Everything We Wished For and More!

What’s better than getting everything you wished for under your tree on Christmas Day?  It’s getting a carload of all the household supplies you most needed delivered to your door before Thanksgiving!   A huge thank you to Chris Arcara and her Fitness & Strength class at the Chili Recreation Center, let by Colleen Painton!

Guess Who Came to Deck the Halls?

And we rang in the holidays with style and spirit this year thanks to the Rotary Club of Rochester Southwest!  Club President Karen Emerson and her team of talented decorators arrived Saturday morning after Thanksgiving to give Harbor House a festive Holiday makeover.  Big Shout out to our Rotary friends: Karen E, Donna, Ron, Carol, Marvin, Mike and Karen L!
